Staying in the Oscar Wilde Grand Suite at the top of the steps was a beautiful and very comfortable experience with a great view. The hotel staff made us feel like they loved their jobs and were genuinely happy to have us there, both within the rooms and common areas. The location allowed us to enjoy the fun of walking around, being just a few blocks away from downtown Stillwater and the river, while immersing ourselves in Victorian splendor. The dining experience offered healthy, organic, and locally sourced food, prepared by Chef Maggie Wescott, making our stay memorable.
Staying at the hotel was a delightful experience. The rooms were stunning, especially the Turkish/Egyptian-themed spa room. The private entrance provided convenience, although the service felt a bit off at times. The location was peaceful and charming, close to downtown Stillwater. The dining was exceptional but a bit minimalist. The facilities were top-notch overall.
